The London Aquarium
It's worth skiving off work on a weekday to see the aquarium without hordes of little nippers rubbing their snotty noses against the glass. Standing close to the giant tanks and checking out the weird, wonderful and, urm, wet marine-life is the next best thing to scuba-diving. You don't get to touch (except in the petting tank where you can cop a feel of the spotted rays). But then, you don't have to deal with breathing technique, steamed-up goggles, shark-bites, drowning and the like. We ask that you leave your Jaws jokes at home though please.
