The Gatehouse

Being, as it is, a Wetherspoon's (it can't help it), The Gatehouse is cheaper than the average, but you'll pay in other ways during your visit. While many old man pubs can be endearing, these chaps smell like the incontinent type, and emit so strong an odour of stale smoke there may as well be no smoking ban. There is however a 'diners only' area to put some distance between your nose and their arses should you brave the microwaved delights. Many of the menus have had sections torn off for roach material, so your choices may be limited.
