Now, we don't know much about art, but we know that there's some stuff with landscapes and fat naked ladies (which you're supposed to enjoy looking at), there's some stuff that looks like a pile of objects (which you're supposed to enjoy thinking about) and there's some with shapeless splashes of colour (that you're supposed to reproduce by the thousands and hang up in restaurants). Then, there's another type of art, the type you get to see, touch, hear, walk through, bounce off, be startled by AND think about, and that's what you'll often find at the Hayward.
