Greenwich Market
Greenwich maintains its suburban feel, mainly by being so difficult to reach that the city can't be bothered to spread that way. Good for the locals, but not for those of us who want to browse the antique tat, crafts and food stalls at the market. Unlike Camden, this market still has a lot of car-boot style junk that makes for hours of idle nosing. Looking for a 50s set of weighing scales? Fancy the entire back catalogue of the National Geographic? It's all for grabs – just don't expect to be able to fit that vintage, dressing screen on the DLR.
