Finsbury Park

What Finsbury park lacks in manicured lawns it makes up for in fun. There are football pitches, an athletics stadium, softball and baseball diamonds, a bowling green and even an American football field. Then there are the regular music events, like July's Rise Festival – the free anti-racism shindig. Whether it's a school sports day, a food fair or the Big Gay Out, there's always something in the park. But best of all it's got that friendly, neighbourhood vibe. People even say hello to each other, which sure don't happen in W1.
