Regents Park Open Air Theatre
We'll try not to get all thespy on you, but the Open Air Theatre is genuinely magical. Even watching that podgy, incessant wretch, Jimmy Carr, in the Sunday stand-up slot, was made pleasureable by the clear air and backdrop of rustling oak trees. As an evening of theatre, it's sheer weak-at-the-knees showmanship. Bring a girl to watch Shakespeare – as the evening light fades and the fairy lights come out she may as well leave her pants at the door.
