Regents Park
Thank goodness for the Prince Regent, eh. Nabbing up all that land and making a pretty summer hangout for himself and his cronies. Of course, now that the common folk are no longer confined to gutters and the workhouses, it's lost a little of its exclusive charm. Still, with a boating lake, tennis centre, sports fields, rose gardens and dozens of pretty nooks and crannies for a picnic, you're bound to find somewhere away from the hacking consumptive coughs and rabid, sacking attire of the boot shines and chimney sweeps.
