London Ducktours
As car thieves perhaps like to say, it's amazing what a lick of paint can do. And when you paint a fleet of amphibious WWII assault vehicles a cheery shade of yellow and fill them with dryly witty local guides, you've got an altogether more joyful experience than the Normandy landings they were originally built for. The charming but graceless bus-boats battle traffic around Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus before plunging into the Thames for the wet patch of the tour. You'll leave armed with plenty of pub quiz ammo, and hopefully won't get shot at.
