Tamarai
When the doorman guides you through a labyrinth of hallways to a darkened basement restaurant, you know you're either in for something special - or super pretentious. Our Tamarai experience was the latter. Service was appalling and when we finally got our bill, 40 minutes late, we were overcharged. Their offer to remove the 12.5% service charge to 'make up the difference' didn't cut it. Avoid like a manically grinning bloke on a night bus.
