The first surprise about this swish restaurant and cocktail bar is that it only serves raw food. Surprise number two is that the food is incredible. Flavours are intense, textures are varied, presentation is lush. Maki rolls (with grated parsnip instead of rice) are better than the real thing, the wild mushroom croquette is completely satisfying, and the dairy-free ice cream tastes bad for you. The sheer inventiveness of these recipes blew us away. Perhaps by next time they'll have invented a teleporter.
