London Eye, The
It wouldn't be London without it, and we wouldn't be Londoners if we didn't turn our noses up at the £15 ticket and snap-happy tourists. You get a fine view of the capital up there, but we can see the Isle of Dogs from our sky-rise flats in the East End. It's cockney apathy: something the government has been banking on. Those pod-mounted cameras the tourists think are for 'action shots' (it's hardly Logger's Leap) are in fact monitoring our every move. Proles be warned – it's not called the Eye for nothing.
