Banana Cabaret @ The Bedford

The name might be a bit clownish (though after six pints of Stella, even the word 'banana' becomes funny) but Banana Cabaret deserves its reputation as a jewel of the London comedy scene. When you walk into the Bedford's roundhouse of a function room it feels more like the setting for a secret Masonic assembly with swords and blindfolds than a comedy club, but once you've paid the cha-ching entrance price, you'll be blessed with a night of genuine belly laughs.
