The Camel

With a name like this Itchy was expecting either something great and beautiful or something seriously flat-cap-and-pipe lame. Thankfully, the former prevailed. The brown-tiled exterior and dark wood bar have been left untouched while the interior has had a good doing over with funky lights and floral wallpaper. The perfect Sunday pub, it beckons you in to scoff a roast then settle down in the corner with a pint of Adnams Broadside and The Sunday Times, fondly remembering One Man and his Dog. And frankly, we love them for that.
