This place brags to the masses about the fact that it won the Condé Nast award for 'The Most Excellent London Hotel'. You can imagine the clientele can't you? Any establishment that defines itself by the printed word in a glossy magazine is probably exactly the kind of place you want to stay away from. Antiques in every room and live jazz every Friday in a terracotta clad restaurant called the Potting Shed... it's all rather poncey and contrived for us. But if Conde Nast says it's excellent, then it must be.
