Victoria Park

We're not sure quite what they were hoping to achieve with their weird, Asian style fireworks display last year but hopefully it did nothing to tarnish the reputation Victoria Park has for being one of the nicest in London. 'It's just a park!' we hear you cry. Well, yes, yes it is. But it's pretty damn nice as parks go, with some pretty lakes and enough different kinds of tree to make a dendrologist moist. So why not try branching out? Discover your roots. No we're not barking mad, haven't you twigged yet? Ok, enough tree puns. Plug into your iPod and lounge amongst the pigeons and ducks. Just try to block out all the screaming kids.
