The Roundhouse
Originally built as a railway shed in 1846, the Roundhouse has long since been known as a top London arts venue, and throughout the 60s and 70s a ton of top acts performed here, including Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Peter Brook and The Living Theatre of New York. In recent years it had started to become a little bit of a sad shadow of its former self in a lot of ways, but since its extensive refurbishment you can now catch some top music acts as well as weird, arty performances, and don't miss a drink on the splendid roof terrace in the summer.
