Labour of Love
Sorry, UB40 fans. This is nothing to do with Ali Campbell and co's tuneless cod reggae. Despite its location at the arse-end of Upper Street, Labour of Love has an eclectic mix of ladies' clothing, accessories, books and shoes. Quirky labels like Peter Jensen and Aganovich & Jung sit alongside DFA albums and bohemian lifestyle books. Not cheap, but good for brownie-point presents. Unless they're after Rat In Me Kitchen on vinyl, in which case you're best off without 'em.
