The Griffin
It might look like the Blitz has just finished and the only thing left standing amongst the deserted warehouses was this old boozer. Thank God it was this one, and not any of the other swanky, wanky bars round here. This is a proper pub, with beer, locals, a jukebox and a bit of a car park where they put out chairs in the summer. You get the odd cool kid stopping by, but they behave themselves and enjoy a night of old-fashioned drinking like everyone else. Now that's what we call London pride.
