The comfy curve of sofas at the back just beckons for a second date snuggle or a loud group of mates swigging bottles of cheap beer. During the day it's dark as well as being slightly grubby, but at night, when the DJ's spinning and the seats are spilling over with laughing Islingtonites drinking cocktails, that's when the party really gets started. It's pretty packed on weekends, but it's always a great place to stop on that obligatory Upper Street pub crawl.
