Waterstones

You always feel safe in a Waterstones. In fact, there's something about a shop that has more than one floor that just screams 'quality'. You don't see many Woolworths with a floor-guide and an elevator now, do you? Although we must say this shop lets the side down when it comes to the pic 'n' mix selection. When we tried to create our own version by ramming more Agatha Christies into a paper bag than the laws of physics should allow, we thought the lack of thanks from the staff was verging on rude.
