Harder than masonry nails and louder than Jade Goody singing Ace Of Spades through a megaphone, the Crobar is heavy metal paradise if you like your music with rocks in. It's pretty small but that just means you can hear the brilliant jukebox even better and the walk to the bar is more manageable. If you think Slayer, Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin were contestants in the last series of Robot Wars, then you're probably best giving the Crobar a wide berth. It's not exactly the place for a quiet drink...
