London Palladium
With 2,286 seats, the Palladium is one of London's biggest theatres, but sit at the top and you won't be curing your vertigo any time soon. As host to the Royal Variety Performance since 1914 there's always a queue to whatever top show manages to open inside – most recently Chitty Chitty Bang Bang gave way to the digital, laser spectacular Sinatra.
