Hawksmoor

Considering that prohibition-era America was based around stopping people from drinking, you mightn't think that it'd be a great basis for a bar. You'd be wrong. Serving drinks like Scoff Law (named for the fact that to drink it back in prohibition days was to scoff at the law), Hawksmoor's currently setting Shoreditch's cocktail world alight. Combine that with the precision-cooked, well-sourced steaks on offer, and this place ain't doing a very good job stopping people drinking. In fact, one drink in here, and you'll soon be asking 'Please sir, can I have 'smoor?'
