Make sure you book for Sunday lunch - the roasts here are fabulous and the locals flock en masse for an afternoon of lounging civility. The rest of the week offers classy lunches and al fresco dinners for the two kids and a Range Rover crowd. That's not to say the young and childless will be treated with distain: far from it.
