The Drama Workhouse
You'll be glad to know that the Drama Workhouse in Willesden isn't a Dickensian repository for hungry and overworked thespians. No. It is in fact a place that has drama workshops for adults and children led by professional actors. Whether you're doing drama for the first time, brushing up on your skills, or just want to have fun - this is the place you should be. The workshops offer a pressure-free and non-competitive environment in which to learn, and provide adults and children alike with an opportunity to develop their self-confidence, powers of self-expression and their creativity. Above all, the emphasis is on fun regardless of age. Click here to buy itchy London, the UK's best-selling guide to what's on in London, including hotels, restaurants, clubs, bars, and shopping.

This is a great program that offers drama skills in a non-competitive, FUN environment - led by professional working actors. Whatever your age - they put together short courses, generally eight week commitments, and you can sign up for as many as you like. They cover many different topics during the courses, for example - storytelling, theatre-in-the-round, character work, basic vocal work and relaxation, poetry, improvisation, and devising your own script. The workshops help to fund charitable initiatives, including drama training to vulnerable adults and children, and young offenders. As such, people who attend the classes not only have a great time, they are contributing to a good cause. Their contact information has changed. You can find it all at www.dramaworkhouse.org.uk or call Kaye @ 07958 653725
