Hallsville Tavern

A locals boozer with banter aplenty and lots of ale-swilling, The Hallsville Tavern – also known as The White House – is a bit of an E16 saviour. Without it Friday nights would be barren and folks round here would be sat dejected in their houses watching small children pretend to be popstars. The regular live music is well worth checking out and the crowd is ridiculously upbeat. You almost expect someone to set up with a bango in the corner and raise a toast to one and all. Fortunately they won't, but my God it's cheerful.
