Cannon's Tandoori

Fancy restaurants are a bit lacking in this neighbourhood. To be fair you'd be better off popping up the road to Stanmore, but if needs must, try this place on for size. Cannon's is an Indian restaurant of the old school. By that we mean pink paper linen, bamboo chairs, bus seat-style upholstery and swirly walls. The food is no worse than any other restaurant of its kind – dumbed down curry dishes for westerners who don't know better. But not bad if you're in the area and dying for a biryani.
