This boozer has a long and jaded history – for years it was the local fight club with nights out ending in untold destruction all round. Nowadays it's slightly improved with muscle on the door and a more restrained clientele. Come prepared for Essex banter – all 'awwight darlings' and cheesy winks – and the odd local student looking scared in the corner.
