This lovely Persian restaurant had just opened when we dropped in and already things were looking good. The décor has been well thought out with atmospheric wall–lighting, murals and random artefacts dotted about. It's modern but arty, and dark enough to flatter even the most miserable complexion. On the food front they do a fine line in grills – lamb, poussin, quails, tiger prawns –, which come with rice, breads and salads. Veggies are well catered for with the likes of okra, aubergine, lentils and veggie kebabs. There's also a massive selection of meze, hubbly bubbly pipes and amazing pistachio ice–cream. Eat here and leave happy. This is set to be a local favourite.
