The Birkbeck
Some of Leyton's boozers are a bit intimidating. You know the score, you walk in and ten gnarly men with beer moustaches try and outstare you. It's enough to send anyone running for Hackney. Here though, you'll find a warm welcome. No particular reason why, that's just the way it is. This is an excellent local pub with good guest beers, pool, darts and outside seating. They do bar snacks and a Sunday quiz, plus you'll leave with both your legs. Not bad for a night out we reckon.
