Royal Albert Hall

The don, the daddy, the big G, etc... the Royal Albert Hall plays host to anyone important to fill its voluminous capacity. Plush surroundings and impeccable acoustics make any show here a bit of a winner. However, it is of course all about the Proms, which roll around each July and push on through til September, and you can actually get a ticket from as little as three pounds rather than cynically tuning in to watch the last night on BBC1 and making out you've been following the whole thing...
