Ifield, The
This is a local gastro pub for local gastro people. Welcome to the Royston Vasey of wealthy West London. The posh punters are horrified when you walk in and show no signs of being 'local'. Once you've installed yourself, though, you'll find it's a gastro pub of two halves. The pub bit has knackered sofas and a miniature telly showing football. The gastro area, with its chandeliers, candelabras and indoor ivy creates traditional posh dishes for groups of backgammon enthusiasts.
