Angel, The
In contrast to all the ponceyness of Hoxton, The Angel is your classic no frills boozer. The staff are welcoming, the beer's good, and there are loads of pub games to keep you entertained if your mates are annoying you. Unless you fancy a game of pool, in which case, well, I guess you'll just have to make some new ones. They also show the footy and have a big screen upstairs.
