Green Cottage

The locals will hate us for sending you here: extra punters to seat means less room for them. And frankly once you've tasted the cheap, cheerful but amazingly good quality Chinese food here, you'll understand why they'd rather not share. Prices are excellent and there are some really interesting dishes hidden between the menu classics. The soups are great and the duck is legendary, whispered about in hushed tones from here to Islington. North-West London's Chinese community flock here in droves and the proof is in the eating friends. Tuck in.
