Moti Mahal
What do you do when you're a bit unsure about your destiny and pretty damn hungry?
Well, you head to Moti Mahal obviously! It will fill you up and ease all those woes...
It's a little hidden gem, situated in a Grade II listed building at the back of Covent Garden, which you have likely walked passed in a drenched huff many a time. Well, next time keep your eyes open – this is a place where you will not only eat delightful Indian food but be enlightened as well.
You will receive a warm welcome and good service. The menu is not what you would expect from an Indian restaurant. Lots of cool flavours, we sampled the curry veggie patties with ketchup and tandorri chicken with some delightful rice. A good combination that worked well.
On Tuesdays, most importantly, you can have your palm read. Itchy had a go and true to form the reader got everything in their life correct! So for you cynics out there have a go and see how you get on. You will definitely be surprised.
Cocktails are fabulous and they have a great wine list.
Only snag was that the wine is a little pricey at an average of £20 a bottle. We didn't see that coming...A perfect place to have a date, a bit romantic but not too much... so even when you start mapping out the rest of your life you hopefully won't scare your partner away!
