Hip hop fans might be pleased to hear that PUMA is about to release a line of trainers that pays homage to groundbreaking music TV show, YO! MTV Raps.

Based on the signature PUMA Clyde and Suede silhouettes – styles embraced by hip-hop and street culture in the late 70s, 80s and early 90s – PUMA has created four limited edition shoes specific to the show’s legendary hosts Doctor Dre and Ed Lover, plus MCs Big Daddy Kane, MC Shan, Doug E Fresh and the world's greatest DJ, DJ Cash Money. True to the culture of the time, each shoe demands maximum attention by using eye-catching colors and the famed YO! logo on the tongue and heel.

Puma trainers dre ed Launching this month, the limited edition styles will be available at selected stores nationwide including Hannon, Size?, Offspring, Gloria’s and Footlocker, priced from £70. In addition to the YO! MTV Raps Limited Edition Artist collection, PUMA will also launch five additional PUMA suede shoes inspired by the show. These five styles will be more widely available at PUMA Concept Stores around the UK and will feature the show’s logo on the foot bed and tongue.
